Kraemer & Kin is one of a handful of host locations serving as a qualifying venue for the 2022 State Steinholding Championship on Saturday, October 1st.

Steinholding (Masskrugstemmen in German) is a simple sport in which the competitors hold a full 1L glass stein out in front of them with a fully extended arm for as long as they possibly can, trying to outlast their opponents. Our local men’s & women’s champion will be invited to represent Kraemer & Kin at the state finals on Saturday, October 22 at Von Trapp Brewing Bierhall.

Participation at Kraemer & Kin on October 1st is free and all are encouraged to give it a go. To sign up; email, call or dm to join the fun. There will be opportunities to train/practice prior to the tournament. The day will be accompanied by beer brats, music and general festivities.

The winners at von Trapp Brewing will earn the title of Vermont 2022 State Steinholding Champions and win $500 in von Trapp gift cards and other prizes.
